fc(f)c
and I was wondering what that meant. I haven't been able to find it anywhere online.

I thought that, but if it's only for the second verse, then what would be played for the first verse?

For example, "High" in the first verse and "High-er" in the second. The note in parenthesis could mean that "High-er" should be played as two eigth notes with the c on the first syllable and the f on the second.
Honestly, I have no clue, but that would be my educated guess. LOL
