Havent a clue about treble and bass clefs and all that. I just know the six strings starting with the fat one are EADGBE. If you see tabs for chords you get to see the shapes and it becomes clear after a while

I just learnt with this software I found at ezmusic4u web site. very neat. makes some notes into different colors and showed me how to count and name the notes as the music played and which fingers to use . I saw a guitar tab version to but i think is mostly keyboards and piano what I liked is the music didnt jump allover the place like it always does ...sigh it was easy and kewl
