hello, i play in an orchestra, i am a viola and cello player. im hoping to look into playing band here in a few months to recieve my credits, can anyone tell me a band instrument that reads Alto clef? if you could itd be the biggest help in the world. please email me at: SkittlesBlackRainbow@msn.com thank you!

sorry, you will need to learn bass or treble. Shile some instruments use different clefs, it is rare and found almost exclusively in symphonic writing.

Don't worry about it. You may want to choose a low instrument as they have fewer notes and this will relieve some of the stress of learning a new clef and instrument at the same time.
