When beside a chord letter? for example Bsus or A sus or Csus. you get the point.

It could mean suspended. But I'm not sure.

Yes sus means suspended. Most commonly, suspended 4. Sus 2 is also common.

If you just see sus, it is referring to the sus 4 chord.
A "C" chord is spelled C E G C , but a Csus chord is spelled C F G C . The 4 displaces the 3 (F instead of E). This chord is often followed by the major chord with the same root).
