“QuickBooks connection has been lost” is an error message that you get when due to some reason, the workstation computer can’t connect to the server where the company file is saved. Here is how you can fix the issue.
1. Go to the workstation that is affected by the error and install the QuickBooks tool hub.
2. Launch QuickBooks Tool Hub and move to the Company File Issues tab to select QuickBooks File Doctor.
3. Launch QuickBooks File Doctor and select the option to repair the damaged network.
