#beginquote# You are correct to focus on your air speed. The way to do that is by compressing the air through a small passage way. You create this passage with your tongue level. Low notes are "AH". This makes your tongue lay flat, so the air goes slowly through a large passage way. For high notes the syllable is "EE". This causes the tongue to arch and compress the air. Lip slurs are the way to go. They help train your tongue to work in this way. Be careful not to use too much pressure to achieve the upper range. Also, you must stay relaxed in your throat/upper body and keep a steady air stream. GOOOOOOROOOOOO #endquote#
