#beginquote# You are in some pretty good company. Carly Simon still gets stage fright, as does Barbara Striesand. When Rod Stewart made his first public debut, it was from behind the speakers when he was singing for Jeff Beck. He eventually got over it, and later in the show, he came out of hiding. The list is endless. It is the fear of what people might say or think if we make a mistake. I remember the first time I played at our church for Christmas Midnight Mass, There was a string trio (all professional orchestra musicians), who were close friends of mine, but I was so nervous and awed to be in such company, that my knees were shaking un-controllably. I made it through ok. Now when I play with other musicians, I notice their mistakes, and some are more noticeable than mine, and they get paid. Just take a deep breath and give it your best, and stick with it. Good Luck. I am a fragment of my imagination #endquote#
