#beginquote# Harmonic, Melodic and Rhythmic forms are probably what your teacher will use, suzyq, but structure may be included. Structure can include things like modulation and even syncopation. A good example of dictation, which I use at least once a term, is to play a 12 bar piece 6 or 7 times and stop at a particular bar ie: bar 7, and ask students to identify if the chord is a I, IV or V, and/or a 7th. Intervals,and Augmented, Diminished or Suspended forms are another. #endquote#
