#beginquote# Something happened with my first attempt at a reply to this post. The alto notes are in the top line of music if the peice is written in parts. This is the treble clef, and is identified by a symbol whic looks like the and sign. The upper set of notes is the soprano part, and the lower set is the alto part. Don't be afraid to ask your choir director for help or answers to any of your questions. Godd luck, and enjoy your choir. I am a fragment of my imagination #endquote#
