#beginquote# I am not a musician unfortunately and have a question. In old songs especially there was an intro to a song in many instances. I am convinced there is a technical name for this "intro" but cannot think of it. e.g. In Tony Bennett's classic "I left my heart in SF" it starts "the loveliness of Paris is somehow sadly gay, the glory that was Rome is of another day..." That is what I am asking. Can you help? #endquote#
