#beginquote# Are any of you awake? I've got to go to a piano recital at 3 or 4 later, and none of y'all seem to be up!;) My flute tutor is making me practice my scales more now than ever, and if anyone knows me well, I hate scales. I love to play music, and arpeggios, but not scales. The only time I ever enjoyed a scale was when, and this was so cool, I was at that Lions band tryout, and all the flute players started playing their scales simultaneously. It was like a cascade of notes just came out of nowhere and washed over you like a wave. It got louder and softer too, as if it really was a wave; my flute friend (Sue) and I call it a flute wave, but I guess you kind of had to be there. It was awesome! I am only a speck upon another speck floating in a pool of galaxy #endquote#
