#beginquote# Most flutes are silver plated or nickel/silver plated. Scratches can occur with constant use of the horn. I do not know of a way to get out scratches without replating the entire horn. That would be expensive. If the scratches are fine a repairman may be able to remove or hide them by buffing with special rubbing compounds. I really think you should take it to a repairman. This is not something you need to attempt. Silver polish will remove the plating and cause further damage. How are the scratches getting there? Normal playing should not do that. #endquote#
