#beginquote# For understanding theory, numbers are better. They lay the groundwork for understanding scales and chords. Solfege and numbers are both an attempt to be able to use one set of words to represent different notes within the scale in any key. A singer should be proficient in both, but numbers will help you understand more about music and how it works than solfege will. GOOOOOOROOOOOO #endquote#
