#beginquote# Hey toonz, never say never. Flamenco is a lot of finger work as well as the rythem. It's like playing two parts at the same time! I wanted to learn to play bass a long time ago, and didn't have a bass guitar, so I used the last 4 stings on my acoustic, and began finger picking bass lines and chords. After I got a bass guitar' I continued to finger pick on guitar using all 6 strings. Now when I play chords, I finger pick through all the notes in the chord, plus the bass notes. This gives a two dimensional flavor to the music, and this style is similar to Flamenco. I,m not really into it too much, but I have dabbled with the Malaguena, which is quite challenging to play. I hope I didn,t butcher that too much. I'm not good in Spanish spelling. Give it a try, you might find it interesting. #endquote#
