#beginquote# Some who have trouble learning to read music see it differently when they turn the staff clockwise 1/4 rotation so that the lines are verticle. It is easy to see the relationship between the written notes on the grand staff and their corresponding notes on the piano keyboard. There is a book designed for folks who have had trouble grasping the language called "Bold Beginnings" by Eloise Ristad which uses this method. Also there are several decent sites out there: try this one to start . . . http://datadragon.com/education/reading/ GOOOOOOROOOOOO #endquote#
