#beginquote# In order to survive your music class you are going to have to use your imagination. You are going to have to think up ways to at least make it entertaining for you. It may be bothersome to you but keep in mind that there are many worse things in life than having to take a class you don't like. It wont, and I assure you this, "ruin your life". A little dramatic don't you think? Try not to focus so much on the fact that you don't want to be in that class. Think of it in terms of an easy grade. I am sure you have a lot of other classes that are much more demanding than that one. Find someone in the class who is actually enjoying themselves and ask them for help. You know, I don't like crowded places but I try to overlook that when I am at a place like Disneyland for example because I don't get to go there that often and I don't want my anxiety level to get to a point where I can't enjoy myself. I have to make a concious effort to look beyond all the people and have a good time with my kids. Once you have your compulsory music class under your belt, you probably wont have to take any more against your will. Don't fail this class or you will be forced to take it over again. Something tells me you wouldn't want to do that. I feel kinda bad for you because music is one of the things I turn to often whenever I need to be uplifted or feel better. I don't know how you survive day to day. Music is everywhere. At the mall, on TV, in the movies, at church. It is everywhere you turn. Is it possible for someone who doesn't like music to LEARN to like it? If it were I would suggest that. But I suppose that is easier said than done. All you can really do is focus on the end result. Finish your class and it will be done with. Good luck. #endquote#
