I'm a student at Portland State University, and I'm looking for resources to establish a "Survey of Indie Rock" student taught course. If anyone knows of credible literature to be used as text, please let me know. Any suggestions are welcomed.

I know of one music encyclopedia that examines many forms of modern music, but i cant remember the name, I'll go find it and follow up with you
