For starters, I know that it is unacceptable to be late for an interview and that there is no excuse for it, but I am just curious. We are all humans, and unforeseen circumstances can arise at any time with anyone. So what if I go for an interview and have my car ACTUALLY broken down on the way. I just cannot use this as an excuse as 1. No one will believe it, and 2. Again, making excuses will ruin my first impression. So how do we actually deal with this situation if god forbid it happens to anyone of us? I would prefer it if an interview professional can answer. Note: I am a punctual person, just was a bit curious about how to deal with such a situation.
