I have been working very hard this summer on a resource to use in my classes to help me show the relationships between the various musical composers. I found a great way to do it with the help of the Mass. Institute of Technology, and I wanted to share this labor of love with all of you.
The database is up at:
http://www.musicedmagic.com/music-history/music-composer-research-database.html
Please take a look at it and give me some suggestions or requests for anything that I might have left out. I did not create it for the purpose of GIVING my students the answers. Instead I wrote it with the intent of helping them find good information more easily and (as mentioned before) to visually see relationships in time and geographically as well.
I look forward to hearing from all of you!
