1. The first Rap/Hip Hop song was released in 1979 by a group named the Sugar Hill Gang. The song made entry into the top 40 chart.

2. Before "thriller" the most successful album of Michael Jackson it was "off the Wall" album that gave fame to the solo artist. The album which was released in 1979.

3. Bob Dylan is know as one man band. The artist had a great impact on folk music.

4. Yamaha Music was established in 1887 as a manufacturer of piano and reed organ

5. Phil Spector is also known as the man who changes the discourse of music history. The music producer is remembered for varied hits.

6. Tupac Shakur and Christopher “The Notorious BIG” singers died just after two years of Kurt Cobain died.

7. Feb 3 1959 The Day the Music Died, three of Rock & Roll’s stars died in a plane crash.
