i went into my attic the other day and i found some tapes. i think that's what they are atleast. they are twice as big as normal tapes. but n-e-ways

there are some singers on the tapes that i never heard of. and i thought that maybe someone here would have heard of them. i just want to know how old these tapes are and what kind of music is it that they play.

thanx!

They are both country/western singers. I,m not quite sure how far back their music goes, I know it's at least the 60's.

These sound like reel-to-reel C and W tapes, from way back. If you can track down an old style tape player, try running them backwards...then the dog comes back to life, the guy gets out of jail, and his wife comes back to him. A far more cheerfull version of Country music.

If the tapes list any song titles, you can look them up on the internet or a local country station and you could find out when the songs were released. My best guess would be the early 70's. I'm not into country music, unless it goes back to the forties and fifties, so I can't be sure of the time line. I can only say that I have heard some of their music from time to time.
