Registered: 11/18/2004 | posted: 8/15/2005 at 10:53:04 AM ET To the last poster who said that smoking does not have anything to do with music, I think it would affect those who play trombone, flute, oboe etc. - and anyone who sings - breath control is an important part of playing these various instruments and for singers.
I don't know how anyone can smoke in this day and age with all the information "out there" - enough said.

I don't know how the last anonymous poster can ignore all the information on the hazards of smoking and say that it's the best thing ever. Whoever you are must have his/her head in the sand - I hope that you quit - in the end you may pay for smoking.
when I was about 17 some friends and I tried kent menthol - it tasted so bad made me cough with the first puff - I threw the pack of kents in the garbage and that was that. My father smoked Pall Malls and had health problems as time went on. I worked with a wounderful person who wouldn't or couldn't stop smoking and she died from lung cancer. To make a long story short - DON'T SMOKE
