To the last poster who said that smoking does not have anything to do with music, I think it would affect those who play trombone, flute, oboe etc. - and anyone who sings - breath control is an important part of playing these various instruments and for singers.

I don't know how anyone can smoke in this day and age with all the information "out there" - enough said.

You can disagree if you wish, but just about everyone I've known over the years who were smokers have paid for it - emphysema, heart trouble among other things.

I don't know how the last anonymous poster can ignore all the information on the hazards of smoking and say that it's the best thing ever. Whoever you are must have his/her head in the sand - I hope that you quit - in the end you may pay for smoking.

when I was about 17 some friends and I tried kent menthol - it tasted so bad made me cough with the first puff - I threw the pack of kents in the garbage and that was that. My father smoked Pall Malls and had health problems as time went on. I worked with a wounderful person who wouldn't or couldn't stop smoking and she died from lung cancer. To make a long story short - DON'T SMOKE

Hi, let's be friends. I guess as you can tell from my post that over the years I've seen the terrible things that can happen to smokers - relatives, co-workers and friends.

I'm sorry if I misunderstood your post.

As they say, ‘health is wealth’ and one of the biggest benefits of quitting smoking is
better health. It really does not matter whether you’ve smoked for a few of years or have been a chain smoker for 30 years. What does matter is that you have decided to quit and starting from this point, you will live a richer life with fewer illnesses and less time in a doctor’s surgery.
