They consist of a horizontal arm, or "boom," that can be raised and lowered to allow or restrict access to a particular area. Here are some common uses and benefits of boom gates:
Uses:
Traffic management: Boom gates are commonly used to control the flow of vehicles in parking lots, gated communities, and toll roads.
Security: Boom gates are an effective way to restrict access to sensitive areas such as military bases, airports, and government buildings.
Safety: Boom gates can be used to prevent vehicles from entering unsafe areas, such as construction sites or areas with hazardous materials.
Pedestrian control: Boom gates can also be used to control the movement of pedestrians in high-traffic areas, such as train stations or concert venues.
