| posted: 3/25/2011 at 10:31:55 PM ET I am begining music student, but older then most. Could someone please help me with a verse or two about treble and bass notes. For some reason I am stuck or lost when it comes to memorizing the notes. Especially the bass ones on the piano.

The guide notes to learn are G on the treble staff (g clef) and F on the bass staff (f clef). Memorize five C's; middle C (treble and bass), treble C (third space on the treble staff), bass C (second space on the bass staff), high C (line note above the staff with two ledger lines), low C (line note below the staff with two ledger lines). Treble C and bass C mirror each other in their placement, as do high C and low C. www.ipracticemore.com
