I am begining music student, but older then most. Could someone please help me with a verse or two about treble and bass notes. For some reason I am stuck or lost when it comes to memorizing the notes. Especially the bass ones on the piano.
Thanks Debra

Relate the notes on the staff to guide notes that you will learn first. The guide notes to learn are G on the treble staff (g clef) and F on the bass staff (f clef). Memorize five C's; middle C (treble and bass), treble C (third space on the treble staff), bass C (second space on the bass staff), high C (line note above the staff with two ledger lines), low C (line note below the staff with two ledger lines). Treble C and bass C mirror each other in their placement, as do high C and low C. www.ipracticemore.com
