I have a musical instrument that I picked up long ago at a Renn Faire. It is ceramic and shaped kinda like a turtle with the neck being the mouthpiece. It has two holes on the bottom for the thumbs and air control and five holes on top for notes. Anyone know what this musical instrument is called or anything about its history?

I would guess that it is an Ocarina. These are found in many cultures around the world and take on many forms and shapes. The basic principle is the same. I've seen them with 4 to 8 holes and in a ton of different shapes.
