I need help in how to read songs in terms of F major or minor? c, or other letters, please help!!

You can usually just hear it and be able to tell if it sounds major or minor. If not, look at the first and last note of the piece. If the key signature has one flat and the first and last notes are F, it's F major. If the first and last notes are D, it's D minor. (D is the relative minor or F major, they are the same. Just go 3 letters down from a major key to determin it's relative minor.) But you can't always rely on the first and last notes. Hope I've helped.

Another way is too look for a heavy concentration of the D or F note which will also tell you it's in D minor or F major since not all songs will begin and end in the key note. That is it may not begin and end in D or F.
