When holding the "Recorder" instrument. What is the home position of the hands? Which fingers/hands on which holes, etc.

The proper playing position is with the first three fingers of your left hand covering the top three holes of the recorder and the first four fingers of your right hand covering the bottom four holes of the recorder. The thumb on the left hand should cover the thumb hole on the back of the instrument as well.
