It is not something that will happen overnight. A qualified teacher can give you feedback that no book or online resource can give. The books and online resources are excellent forms of information, but you must have a teacher to be able to give you feedback on your playing, posture, musicality, etc. Good luck!!

However, there is a difference between a guitar player and a musician. Not every person who plays guitar, whether self taught or taught by a teacher, is a musician. In my PROFESSIONAL opinion, the majority of self taught guitarists are guitar players and NOT musicians.
