well i play the guitar and i learned my notes really easy and fast !!!!!4um an awesome book MASTERING THE GUITAR and its by Mel Bay and level 1 9th grade and higher www.melbay.com L8R

Take your time and say the notes out loud when you read them to help memorize them. Also, the brain works best within a period of 15 minutes. So take a break inbetween 15 minute periods, especially if you feel frustrated.
