How do I start to learn how to play a cello again after 40 years. I don't even know what each of the strings are, and how they correspond to the dots on the music sheet...Is there a simple website that can help me??

You can pick up any method book like Essential elements 2000 with DVD and just start!

If you want to really learn how to play properly, I suggest you find a qualified teacher. There is absolutely no substitute for a good teacher who can tell you what you are doing right and what you are doing wrong. That is something a DVD or a method book can never do.
