My 7 year old son has music homework tonight and I am stumped! I'm sure this is a very simple question...but what is the difference between a line note and a space note? Many thanks!!!--Kathy

A line note is on a line, and a space note is on a space? That's the only difference I can think of.

The usual method to remember the notes, the lines from bottom to top read
EGBDF----every good boy does fine.

The spaces read FACE, think
space=face
