Go to the school that gives you the best scholarship opportunities. If you are a instrumentalist or vocalist, audition for scholarships. See what schools stack scholarships. That means they let you have more than one scholarship. I know of a school in Arkansas that has quite a few of the instrumental students on scholarship who also have choir scholarships. Investigate several schools. Don't go to a "name" school because of said name. Education is education. The theories haven't changed in the last 100 years and no one school has a patent.
Good luck in your search.
