I hope no one thinks of this as spamming, but since I try to help out on here every now and then I thought I would bring up an article I have been working on that many of you might find interesting. For those of you that don't know me, I spend a couple of hours each evening sifting through music education news stories from dozens of sources on the web. I send these messages out by email each morning to band directors, musicians, and others that subscribe to a newsletter. Well, I cataloged many of the most interesting music education news stories of 2006 into a set of two articles and posted them on MusicEdMagic. Some of them are sad, some make you angry, and some are just plain wierd.

I am posting the link here simply to let people know about it but also, hopefully, to start a little discussion. Again, I hope no one thinks of this as spam, I'm just trying to pass on a little interesting information.

Happy New Year Everyone!

Sincerely,
Chad Criswell
