My daughter lost a slide to her mellophone in a parade. I'm trying to find someplace to order the slide from. Does anybody have any ideas.

Take it to a instrument repair shop. If it is a common brand like a Conn, King, Bach, Jupiter, they should be able to order the part. Some can even make a part that fits.
