I hear that there is a free software to create, edit & save notes through keyboard in computer. I have an Yamaha 295 with MIDI interface.
Can anyone help me guiding on this.
Would be glad, thankful and indebted.

Final Notepad is a great, free way to get music into your computer, but I don't think the free version accepts input from a MIDI keyboard. Give it a try though.
