Can anybody tell me all the notes on the e string on the violin

e to e plus maybe few more playable notes. maybe a 3rd higher. Virtuoso players can get higher, but takes good technique to make them sound good.

Why do violin player's bow go up and down in unison. I mean it looks nice,but i mean i see them go vertical then horizontal and I just don't get it, Up down Up down, side in side out, up down up down. So much confusion

If you examine a violin closely, you will notice that the bridge on the body of the violin is high and arched. In order to bow the proper string, the violinist must tip the bow as not to hit another string. This is why they hold the bow so delicately. there are times when more than one string is bowed, this is commonly referred to as two or three stringing. It is accomplished by putting more pressure on the bow, and fingering different strings at the same time.

Because they play the same parts just like in a trumpet section. All the 1st violin players are playing the same music. The music most often calls for certain bowing directions at the start of a section of music. Why do all the trumpets playing 1st part use the same fingerings? So they ALL play the same notes. violin is the same.
