Registered: 4/16/2006 | posted: 4/16/2006 at 6:53:24 PM ET my parents just bought me a laubin oboe and if you know anything about oboes laubin oboes are amazing! i'm not aloud to bring it to school because it was very exspensive so i have to use my old one is it bad to switch between two oboes everyday?

Registered: 7/20/2005 | posted: 4/17/2006 at 11:58:07 AM ET i don't know,but my parents won't buy me a new trumpet because theres nothing wrong with my old one except that it has this huge dent that someone put in it by slamming it against a chair.I don't think theres anything wrong with switching oboes everyday.

Registered: 4/28/2006 | posted: 4/28/2006 at 5:16:10 PM ET I've done that all year, and I haven't found a problem with it yet. I have my good "School Oboe" and my not-so-great "Home Oboe". I like them both, but my school oboe has better tone.
Oboes Rule! (but flute is ok too)
