Hi. I am wonderflute if any of ya'll remember me, but I forgot my password. I've seriously been thinking about trying the saxophone out and seeing if I would want to pursue it. I like flute and all, but I seem to love the saxophone's sound and all better. If I have the talent and ability to play sax, I would. Should I try it, and if I do, where could I rent one?

GFI wonderflute (Go For It)! I like both instruments.Play both, because sometimes one is more appropiate than the other, depending on the style of music. The more you know the better.

If you can form the correct embouchure, sax is a good double for flute (or vice versa)because many of the fingerings are the same or similar.

Hello there, Just try your local music supply shop...they normally hire out instruments...with the option to buy it at a later date.Margaret
