I(trumpet) and a friend of mine(alto sax) are in the intermediate to advanced book. while my friends in the flute section are still in the beginners book. we all started at the same time, but some just learn a little faster. so don't worry if u feel behind. its all in good musicianship.

Keep in mind that if you do your best you will do just fine, and there is always someone who has a harder time than you, and you may be able to help that person catch up. This in turn if kept in the right perspective, will make you feel better about yourself. Stick with it and you'll be amazed at the results!

Bandido? You ride a Harley, and you're in 7th grade..?
Same as here, then, execpt Grade is called Year, here, and the kids I teach are Years 7, 8 9 and 10, ... year 7 is always the toughest.A school which has both primary (aka elementry?)and high school is called K-12, for Kindergarten to Year 12.
