I know that's clumsy subject title, but here goes, my teacher called to cancel my lesson this last weekend, she had been in a car accident and to call her in a few days.

I sent her a card wishing her well and left the same message on her cell the other day. Haven't heard from her and not knowing how she's doing is giving me agita. There's a little bit of not knowing when she will resume teaching again. I've been with her for about 4 1/2 years.

Has anyone been in this kind of situation?

I havn't, but I can understand your concern. Over time, a relationship builds up between teacher and student that is quite unique. From the teachers point of view, it's rather like having a group of friends who pay to see you once a week.

Pete thanks for getting back to me. Guess I'll just have to wait or call again in a few days.

It's hard to know what to do - which means waiting to hear from her.
