I have a 10 year old boy and they are offering music lessons and an "ensemble" at his school this year. The instruments being offered are flute, clarinet, saxophone and trumpet. He seems to be leaning toward the clarinet and saxophone, as he likes the sound of them. Is one easier than the other for a child his age? I might add that he is on the smallish side.

TIA.

Well personally i would chose the trumpet but that just me. I would go for the clarinet because he is kinda small and the saxophone maybe to big for him
