ok im studing on the computer about different instruments and the history of them. but i cant find a good web site , for me to go on and get some good information so if anyone knows a site i would thank you very much. (im looking for manley the instruments in the flute family and any and all other instruments)

Are you near a library - it's a start.

I wonder if there is another forum that discusses various instruments, the flute being of them - I know there is one for the piano. Just some ideas.

Try able2know.com. This site has a forum for individual instruments, as well as a general music and lyrics forum.
