has anyone ever visited Scotland on a holiday or anything?

I think it was around 1976 or around there - I spent two or three days in Edinburgh and loved it - then went to Glasgow for the same amount of time - when I think back, I wish I had stayed longer - but it was vacation time.

It was a good time and I have happy memories of my trip.

my mum sometimes takes me shopping in glasgow and if we're going on holiday abroad we fly from glasgow airport. We don't go shopping in glasgow a lot because it's a four hour car journey! Edinburgh is roughy the same amount. our closest main city is aberdeen (has anyone heard of that?) we go shopping there and sometims fly from there. it's a one hour car journey and roughly 50 miles fom my town. we're not erally close to any cities!

how far do you have to travel to get to a main city or do you live in a main city?

There are only two posters who are anonymous,
