Nicely put. I've heard of you..arn't you the guy that got shipwrecked on a desert island, and found a bottle with a message wrapped around it?
As distinct from some other childhood afflictions, dyslexia has a high correction rate, and in fact there is a worldwide industry geared to it's treatment, in which music plays a major part. Read ""Good Music : Brighter Children"" for an insight into just how music aids in the development of both sides of the brain during childhood. A quick Google will reveal the author's name which, being chronologicaly challenged, escapes me at the moment.

i think it's a shame about dyslexic people and think people should think about how they feel as my daughter gets bullied because of it

You will have no doubt heard of them, they are the people who get a severe..sevare..seav...a really bad rash from the top of the cornflake packet.

It's a "good thing" as Martha Stewart would say to know that there are others who are dyslexic.
I realize that learning to play an instrument as an adult is by far not the same thing, but this site has been an enormous help to me - it's always helpful to share ups and downs with fellow musicians - and as this site has helped me, the websites on the list will be helpful to dyslexics - and remember as I mentioned in an earlier reply, that there are many successful dyslexics.
