I'd sure like to hear that song your class wrote. I sent an e mail to the site to see if it's possible to play music on this forum, but I didn't get a reply. Maybe you should copyrite it and get it published. There's a song I wanted to play on this forum called I Talk to the Wind by King Crimson which I think Epitomizes the softer side of rock music. I've been analyzing it as I listen to it over and over, and it's just one of those songs that is truly great. If anyone cares to listen listen to it, it's on the album The Court of the Crimson King. Actually the whole album is excellent.

In fact, it is a product of four classes, K-6, Years 7 and 8, and 9 and 10. I don't know what the US equal classes are, but Year 7's are around 12 to 13. It went well, considering that this was the first time the Junior and Senior classes had sung it together. Numbers were down, because a bout of 'flu has swept through the kids, but volume from the Juniors made up for the missing, Don.

Pete good to hear from you and I'm happy that all went well - I'm sure a lot of time and rehearsals go into making things A-OK

HI Pete, I went over "When the Spirit Comes Down" last night with my friend, and it is almost revised. I may be going over later this evening to finish it up. Actually, the entire thing needs to be re-written, because the guy who helped me write it originally couldn't get the timing I was trying to get across. I had to sing it several times for my other friend to figure out what I was trying to do with it. Eureka! He said by the end of the summer, I'll be able to write my own stuff.
