Hello guys!!
is the recorder a real instrument like a piano or is it more a fun, kids instrument?? p.s. my sister wants 2 know how old suzyq + maintube are.

the recorder is a real instrument and was written for a lot in the middle ages. As instruments became more refined and others were invented and introdued the recorder kinda fell out of favor. There are various sizes of recorders from soprano to bass with each bigger than the next. Th erecorder today is atraining instrument to introduce younger students to playing a wind instrument without the expense of band instruments.

Tell your sister she's too young for me. I can't speak for Suzy.
