where does a piano play in an orchestra? Sting or percussion.

This has been dealt with i an earlier thead. Most musicians probably consider it percussion. Felt hammers hit the strings to make the sound. I'm not real anal about which family it belongs so don't ya'll start beating me up for my answer.
