hello I am new here and I just started a choir class and I do not understand how to find "Do" in your music I get most the other stuff the teacher teaches but I am completely lost here. Any help would be nice.

singing was never hard until I tried to learn how...

"Do" is always the 1st note of a scale. The 1st scale degree.

Whatever the key nsme is and the first note of the scale is "do"
In the key of "G" g is do and so forth

thank you for your help, but what about finding it with flats and sharps ?

It's the same thing as it is with naturals. If the key is D, then "do" is D. If the key is Eb, then "do" is Eb. If the key is F#, then "do" is F#.
