I do not fully understand how to use the coda,s in reading music. Someone please explain. Thank You.

Well, you play the piece until you reach the "D.S al Coda". At that point you go back to the Coda sign and play until you reach what says "To Coda", with a crosshair looking thing next to it. When you reach "To Coda" skip to where it says just plain "Coda" and play to the end. I hope this helped.

You also have a "D.C. al coda"
that means go back to the biginning and play to the coda sign (the crosshiar looking thing). The coda is always at the bottom of the page, usually separated from the reat of the music.
