I am trying to find the music notes for a certain song but can only find the song in tab, is there a way to know which notes are being used in the song by the tab line/numbers that the song is done in? someone please help me!? thanx

The 0 on the 1st string is the E on the top space (Treble Clef), the E on the 0 6th string on TAB is the E under the third ledger line down. ie: the 3 on the top line on TAB is the G sitting above the top line in normal notation.
The Progressive range of musicf instruction books have a series called ""Music Theory "" which ranges from Grade 1 to Grade six. There is a chart in the Grade 1 book which shows the notes in both notation systems.
